Do the Disney lots have in and out privileges? Ie could I park, go to the parks, leave for a few hours with the car, then come back later that day?

And if so, do I have to return to the same parking lot?

This would obviously not be terribly efficient but I have a situation where DD has an event about 30 minutes from DL for most of the day, and DS and I could go while she’s there. It occurred to me that maybe we could go back after we pick her up.

Yes, there are in and out privileges. Keep that parking receipt they give you.

If it was obtained with an AP's pass, sometimes they make you show the pass as well. I haven't parked without an AP in years so I don't know if there's anything else you need to show.

Yes, you can go to another lot. I did this often with race weekends if I drove in because the only lot open was M&F (I hate parking there). Soon as some of the crowd cleared post race, I would move my car to TS.
