If we go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, can we park at the Contemporary and leave our car there while we go to the parks?

Thanks...

No. You can park your car at the CR, but they will issue a limited 3 hour parking permit. Best bet would be to park at TTC and take resort monorail to Chef Mickeys.

if you valet, you can leaveit there.

I'd be interested in the answer to this question as well. I have seen conflicting information. At one point we were told they "mark" your tire or give you a pass that allows 2 hours of parking. Others have said no problem.

We are going for an early dinner at CA Grill and would like to check out the other monrail resorts after dinner, perhaps until the fireworks.

Does any know the official policy?

Thanks!

This is truer at the monorail resorts than any other resorts: security will give you a 3hr parking pass which you have to put on your dashboard. It has the time you entered.

The monorail resorts + WL really do enforce this.

No, you are not suppose to park at a monorail resort and then head to MK. There are signs at each monorail resort stating this.

They will issue you a 3 hour pass.

The parking at the monorail resorts is not meant or designed for MK parking.

I've stayed at the CR 3 times now and have sometimes had to drive around for more then 1/2 hour searching for a spot. It's very frustrating.

If you want to start your MK day at a monorail resort then park at the TTC.

We had the same problem when staying at the Poly. Very difficult to find parking sometimes, and when you do you have a long walk back to your room. I have heard Disney has become much more strict on the 3 hour pass rule at the monorail resorts because there have been so many complaints from resort guests.

I hope that is true. They certainly need to be strict and consistant with the 3 hour rule.

I've also heard of people being turned away during the holiday season and if they didn't have a PS. I've also heard reports of cars actually being towed at the Poly but they NEED to be consistant.

They need to stop those who abuse the system all the time.

What do they actually DO to you if you wind up parking for more than 3 hours? Tow you? Give you a parking ticket? Issue an arrest warrant? Not that I would ever do that :earsboy:, but I'm just wondering how it is enforced.

they tow. that's why i pay to valet park.

What time to the monorails start running? I think we'll park at TTC and ride to breakfast.
