I'm staying off site I know I know :(

But, if I want to ride the monorail, can I park for free at TTC or do I pay per day to park there. What's the best way to ride the monorail?

I haven't been there yet, but I've been told $9 a car parking there. then catch a tram at the end of the aisles into the monorail or MK entrance.

As an offsite guest, whether you want to or not, you get to ride the monorail!!! :)

ACrider is right. Just pay the $9 parking fee, walk toward the red posts, catch the tram, and follow the Express Monorail signs. (If you're an annual passholder, the parking fee is waived, btw)

Once you pay your parking fee, it's good for the rest of the day too. You can park hop, and just show them you've paid and you'll be admitted without having to pay again.

Only onsite guests have free parking priv., and next trip, I will be onsite (not b/c of parking, ofcourse)But on all but one of my prior tirps, too many to count in the 90's, any time I was going to the MK, or EPCOT, I found it much more pleasant to valet my car at the GF or Poly(for MK) or the Yacht Club (EPCOT), have breakfast there, then use the monorail(MK) or boat trans for EPCOT. I wasnt charged, but I think they charge now, however I still tipped dropping off and p/u. Whatever you decide, have a great time :sunny:

The trams do not take you to the MK entrance. They will drop you off so you can either monorail or boat over to the MK.

Are you allowed to leave your car in valet parking all day if you are not a resort guest?

Technically no, valet would work if you were simply eating at the resort and then leaving.
Valet is $7 a day and +tip so really it isn't cheaper.

Not sure if the OP is aware of this, but the TTC is the only parking lot for the MK, so yes you would have to pay. That is unless you meet the exceptions such as AP holder or on-site guest.

In our experience in December, they were not letting you park at the resort hotels all day. You were given a card for a few hour window, regardless of it you used valet or self-park so I am not sure if this would work anymore.
