Does anyone know if you have to have dining reservations to park at the Poly? I will be coming in early afternoon and need to stop by the MK to activate my AP before checking into PO-FQ. Mom & I thought we could park at the Poly, have lunch, take the monorail to MK for our tickets and then go back & pick up the car. I think I heard that you can park for 3 hrs. but do I need to have a PS beforehand or will they just let me in?
Thanks for any help!

You'll probably get a 3 hour pass but why not just park in the MK parking lot. Are you sure you need to go to the MK and not the TTC? Why? I don't recall ANYONE being refused AP rates using a voucher.

You do not need reservations. The guard will give you a three hour parking pass.

You can get your APs activated at the TTC. We did it in May. Another option, there is 15 minute parking at the TTC where the taxis wait.

You can get them activated at DD and you don't have to worry about parking.

Good info, Ed. I didn't know this. Is this the area that used to be accessible parking?

Where in DD??

I'm not Gail--but, I know the answer since this is what we did last time, but we had to buy our APs, not activate vouchers.

There is a Guest Services/Relations office in DTD. It is between World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy, kind of near Team Mickey, down a very short alleyway.

There is also one over on the West Side, but we did not venture over there so I am not sure where it is.

Thanks everyone!
I'll be upgrading a hopper (hopefully - at least, they told me I could!) to an AP, and wanted to take Mom to the Kona Cafe, so that's why I was planning our ticket exchange for MK. I just figured if it was before our check in I wouldn't have a resort parking pass & would have to pay for parking at MK or TTC lots. But thanks for the input!

Thanks!! We need to activate our AP's this trip. Last time out we tried to do it at MK guest relations. BIg mistake. Must have been 20 people ahead of us in line...

If anyone is going to DTD to activate their pass..

The best place to park is in the parking lot all the way to the right. You might call it the first lot .. as far from Cirque as you can be. The walkway that goes from that lot into DTD goes right past Guest Servies. It is a green building.

Hope this helps!
