We are going to try to get the fireworks voyage cruise, which leaves from the Contemporary.
Is parking there a problem? Will they let us or tell us to drive over to T&TC?
Does their parking ever fill up?
I just thought it would be easier bringing the kids back to BCV that night after the cruise if we just drove ourselves.
Thanks!

There is usually a 3 hour limit for parking if you are not staying there....for shopping and eating etc...

Have fun!

with tightened security it would not be a bad idea to have your cruise confirmation number with you. You never know when they may have a confirmation list to check things against.

Getting there later in the evening does not pose the same challenges and concerns that parking other times may cause.

I get the impression that parking space at the CR is at a premium. When we were at WDW early last June we had a PS at California Grill. There wasn't a spot to be had in the general parking lot at the CR. As a "Plan B", be prepared to pay $6 for valet parking.

You might want to call and ask since you have tickets leaving from there. But as far as I know, parking is tight and you will only be allowed there for 3 hrs. The parking out front is for guests checking in. Then there is small parking lots for the south wing that I know of.

There is parking at the south wing and also behind the valet lot. Just tell them what you are there for and it will not be a problem. The 3 hour thing is really for DAK and the Poly they are the only ones that give out parking permits but I have never seen anyone check them. Others will say they see it all the time but in 22 years I have not.

We go about every 3 weeks for dinner/drinks/fireworks viewing with no problem.

Thanks everyone. I will plan on using valet if there is a problem.

Didn't think to ask, but we also have a Poly Luau ressie. Can we also park at the Poly so we have an easy way back home late with the kids?

Thanks!
