Parking at the Contemporary

Parking at the Contemporary Resort is being stricly enforced today. In other words you need to be a guest of the resort, have ADR's or be attending their church services today to park there.

Doesn't surprise me a bit, other than letting people with ADR's in. I've had ADR's at CR before, and been turned away to go park at TTC and take the monorail in.

I believe ADR parking passes (as well as all guest parking passes) are good for either 2 or 3 hours. So it would have to be a quick trip to MK! And from what I've read, they're STRICT on this rule. They have no qualms about towing a car that's been there over the alloted time..

Thanks - that's why I was wondering if it made any difference by valet parking??

Parking passes are good for 3 hours. The Contemporary, the Poly and the GF are strict SOMETIMES - basically when it is really crowded (like on Easter when they are having church services). Other guests have reported being told by the guards that they could leave their car after their meal at a time when it was slower.

Generally if you valet park you can leave your car as long as you want. Occationally - like today I would imagine - valet will either close to outside people (those not staying at the hotel or attending a convention or special events like the church services) or give a time limit as well. This does not happen all that often.

Considering Easter Sunday is one of the major holidays at WDW, I am not surprised to read they are doing this.
