I have an ADR for 1900 park fare at 730pm on a night that the MK is open till 10pm. Im going to be driving to the Grand Floridian. After dinner I was planning on taking the monorail to the park until closing, and then going back to the Floridian. Would I be able to leave my car in the parking lot of the hotel during that time?

No parking in the hotel is only while you are eating you can't use their parking to go to the parks unless you do valet parking. You could park at TTC and take the monorail to the GF and then to the MK.

Generally no, you can only park while you eat. However, I can't imagine a problem later in the evening? If your ADR is at 7:30 and you are back at your car at 10:30(ish). Some dinners take that long so I think you could be ok.

To be completely safe you should park at the regular lot and take the monorail to your ADR then to the park.

You can park for free to eat if you have an ADR, they used to issue a 3 hour parking pass for this. We have used the extra time to explore the resort a bit, and have an after dinner drink in the lounge, so like DisCatGirl implied you have that grace period. Technically, you would be violating the rules to go to the park.

Can I ask what would happen if you did stay in the car park too long? The only reason I ask is because when I last went in 2011, we drove to a few hotels for our ADRs but were not told we had a time limit. We did only stay in the car park whilst we ate so did not break any rules.

I'm wondering if we are allowed to park at the monorail resorts just to visit them anymore? Or do they look up your reservation at the gate and turn you away if you don't have one?

It depends on how full the lot is. They might turn you away, especially at the Contemporary, or they may not. We've experienced both.
