Disneyrsh, I just read this whole thread and I was pretty much with you until I read this post. Stick with the argument that you will continue to violate an unenforced rule simply because it is unenforced. That is your choice and your right - you seem perfectly willing to accept the consequences if the rules ARE enforced, so thats fine - you're doing the crime because you're willing to do the time.
Just don't try to justify your actions with the money you're spending. It is inconsequential if you bought a $50 dress, a $80 boat ride, or a $200 meal - none of that money has anything to do with parking at the CR.
Though I disagree with your argument, I'm not sure how I feel about your actions, since I don't follow every rule every day either. But I will agree that it is crazy for people to get all upset about where YOU chose to park. Ultimately this, and all those other 'hot-button' issues, like pool-hopping and the whole mug thing, are for Disney to decide, and it doesn't do anybody any good to get all upset and start lecturing.
If people who violate unenforced rules are ruining your vacation, you need to insulate yorself from them. If this means staying at a resort where people don't violate the parking rules (or don't pool hop), so be it.
