We will be staying at WL and want to drive for lunch at Boardwalk the day that we arrive and then GF for lunch the following day. What do we need to do to be able to park at each resort? How long can we stay? Thanks :flower3:

When we went for our Chef Mickey breakfast they just asked for our name and ADR time at the resorts front gate. Then we got a 3 hour parking pass.
At GF for our Narcoossee dinner, we told the guy at the gate we had an ADR, we valet parked it and then went to dinner.

Whether dining or not we have done this resort hopping often. It is welcomed. Pull up to the guard gate and let them know your intentions. Some will issue you a time dated parking pass and some want to see an ID and some just wave you in, but in all cases they will welcome you to visit.

You can probably stay as long as it takes you to eat your meal. You'll need to move your car to the theme park lot if you plan on going to the theme park after eating.

Self Parking at the GF is across the street and a bit of a hike to get back to the hotel. You caqn Valet park ($7, plus tip, I think) if you choose to.
At the Boardwalk you may also need to park across the street if the primary lot is full.
As others have said, you will be welcomed.
Have fun.

Just an FYI -- valet parking has gone up to $9, I believe. However, it is good for the day at all deluxe resorts. They'll put a colored hang tag in your car and that color indicates that you've paid for that particular day (colors change every day), so when you drive back to WL, feel free to valet park there for the evening. You can always go back to self-parking the next day. (Even at $9/day, I still think valet parking at WDW is one of the best deals going

I thought the valet rate was the same as the regular parking fee now? I seem to remember a lot of posts that commented that no one would save any money by parking in valet. That would make it $10 now.

I thought it had gone up to $9, but I see All Ears quotes it as $10, so you are indeed correct. Still a great deal IMO given that a lot of nice resorts charge 2-3x more for valet parking, and some of those prices do not include in-and-out privileges, either.
