Parking at Poly?

Does anyone know if you have to use the Valet at the Poly, or can you easily self park? I was checking Tikiman's site and it said on arrival you leave your car with valet and they use a golfcart to take you to your longhouse. Since I am having 2nd thoughts about the car rental, I don't really want to use valet so what are my choices? Thanks in advance.

You can drop off the luggage at the bell desk and then self park. They will still take you to your longhouse when the room is ready.
