My family and I are flying out of Pittsburgh @7:45 am and I want to drive down (from Bflo) the nite before, does anyone have any reccomendations for a hotel that I can leave my car at for 10 days. My husband is very worried about leaving my vehicle in an unsecured lot for that long. And long term parking is about $60.00 for that time frame. So the cost is starting to add up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would park at the airport. I never had any problems there and you don't have to take a shuttle to get back to your car.

Lots of the airports have park-n-fly for the Pittsburgh airport. We used Springhill Suites last winter and didn't have any trouble with our car there for 8 days. My preferred thing to do is to book an inexpensive hotel and then leave our car with Charlie Brown's parking.

They keep your car and shuttle you to the airport and start your car when you return to make sure you will be on your way. They give AAA discount, too. :sunny:

I always leave mine at the airport lot. The extended term is $6.75 per day.

The Holiday Inn on University Blvd has park and fly. Parking is $5.00 per day. I've never stayed there but I know it's close because you can see it from one of the runways (they have a shuttle). I keep it in the back of my mind in case I have an early flight for a business trip in the winter and the weather is bad. Luckily I didn't have to use it last year.

I found some packages on their website:

we always stay at Embassy Suites, they shuttle you to airport and your car stays in their lot at no charge. There are cheaper places to stay that do the same thing but we love Embassy Suites. If we don't have a early flight we park at Charlie Brown's, very easy, fast and they warm you car in winter.
Good luck.

We have had good experiences w/charlie brown's. As mentioned, they'll remove snow & warm up your car. Quick to shuttle you to & pick you up from airport.

Also have a frequent customer card, couple trips, fill up your card, & you're entitled to free parking for a trip.

Entertainment book has a 50% off coupon too.!
