If you're staying onsite, forget the car.....take Disney transportation to the parks. Heck, that's one of the best things about staying onsite. Lock the car and forget it!

I always liked having a car to go to the parks. The only park I didn't drive to was MK.

Parking is free for onsite guests. The resort will give you a parking pass good at all parks.

Having the freedom of a car makes for a more versitle stay. Disney transportation is nice, but the freedom with a car is great.

Even when onsite we always have a rental car. For us there's nothing like not having to wait for a crowded bus. Just personal preference though. If we have boat service (or if we were at a monorail resort) we'd use the Disney transportation. Parking is free. I know we used our Dolphin room key on our last trip. I didn't have a parking pass.

Thanks eveyone for the information. I went a head a rented a car it didn't cost much and I think we will like the flexibility.
