Parking At Parks For WDW REsort Guests

If we are staying at a WDW resort, do they issue some kind of pass to be used for free parking at any of the parks?
If so,is it a "time monitored "pass (just like Hopper passes) or is it a pass which is handed back in to the resort upon checkout?

It's a paper pass to leave on your dashboard. It has your check-out date printed on it, so it isn't good past that date.
