Do the new resort parking fees cover parking at the parks?

Are the resorts still providing the printed parking passes? I've always found the printed passes to be more convenient than sticking my arm out of my car and waiting for a lot attendant to scan my band.

Thanks

Resort guests are historically not charged for parking at the parks. the resort parking fee is a separate thing.

They do not do printed passes anymore. Re entry is by using MB at the gate. When you arrive, they connect your MB/reservation to the car's license plate. That is how they know which cars in the lot belong to registered guests and which don't.

So when you get to the park, how does the attendant at the booth know that you're staying at a Disney resort? I know they can scan your MB, but is there any other way?

Some resorts still use them. Just in February I got one at gfv.

Wasn't that before the new paid parking took effect? We were told by the front desk manager at CR that NONE of the properties use the paper pass anymore since the new parking rules went into effect. He said "we now have a way more complicated system in place property wide."

Just back. They scanned our magic band which is linked to your reservation and tells them where you are staying and the dates. Not sure it has anything to do w/ any parking attendants. They scanned our bands and said things like “I see you are visiting us from the Contemporary today.” We were at 3 resorts and no papers. Only went to one front desk.

In WDW summary, you may get a paper pass or you may just use your magic band; the resort parking fees have nothing to do with park parking; at the parks you don't get charged to park if you are staying on WDW property, and at the resort where you are staying you might get charged for parking but you also might not.

Historically the booth attendant saw the printed pass on your dash and waived you in. I was at the AoA in Dec of 2017 and I had to ask for a printed pass, which they provided. I just wanted to know if they will still provide one if asked.

We didn't get any kind of pass at AKL last month. We just scanned into the resort every day and into the parking lots at the park.
