Parking at other Disney resorts

We are staying at AKL and will have our car. For our dinner reservations at other resorts, I'm inclined to drive to make the trip a little easier. Will I be allowed to park there? I think I saw something about valet for a day at any resort for $12, but can't find anything current.

You are allowed to park at the resorts without paying for the valet service. The limit is 3 hours, but you usually get a little longer without any issues.

What if you aren't staying on Disney property? I know parking is $15/day at the parks but what about resorts if you are offsite?

Doesn't matter. Just tell the guard at the gate you're there for an ADR or you'd like to eat at the CS/food court and look around. They'll either wave you through or give you a piece of paper to put on your dash with some information about when you arrived. You are technically allowed only 3 hours, and they can tow you if they want to. We've gone to several resorts while staying off-property and parked with no hassles.
