We are renting a 2br villa in July and have 9 people...which means we have two cars to park. Is this going to be a problem? We have stayed before in the cabins at Fort Wilderness and there are only allowed one vehicle per site and the other must park in a different lot so I wondered if that is some sort of universal rule or just the Fort Wilderness rule.
Also one of our vehicles is a high top van(8ft. high)...will it fit in the undergroung lot or will we have to park it outside?
Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem. You can ask for another parking pass for the other vehicle. I think an 8ft high vehicle would be tight as I can't remember the limit, but I think it might fit since I remember seeing some large SUV's with rooftop carriers down there.

Our last stay at Kidani was with 8 folks and 2 cars. It wasn't a problem getting a second parking pass and we both used the underground lot. As mentioned the only problem may be the 8ft height. It seems like the clearance was around 10' but I can't remember for sure. Some sections have very high ceilings, others much shorter.

Ooohhhh!! You answered my question!!

We are getting ready to pack (leaving in 7 days) and we're debating whether or not to bring the car top carrier. We *can* cram everything into the Suburban, but with 4 adults and 2 kids (in car seats) for 22 hours on the road, we'd like as much interior room as we can get.

This might make the decision easier.

Even if your vehicle didn't fit in the underground parking, there is ample parking outside in front of the section of the building to the right of the lobby.

There is also outside parking in some in front of the underground parking. One lot next to the underground entrance I think was for 'oversized' vehicles. Saw a BIG van and a motorhome parked there. And we were in the rafiki section and it has several outdoor parking spaces within it. Should be no problem.
