Parking at Hotel

Hi everyone. One night during my vacation I will be visiting friends who are in the Orlando area and they will likely drop me off at my hotel, the Riviera, in the evening and stay for about 30 minutes to check out the hotel. Does Disney allow this? I can scan my magicband when they enter but will Disney not let them in since I will be flying and don’t have a car registered?

Yes, you can do that since you are staying at the hotel. I would just make sure the front desk doesn't subsequently charge you for overnight resort parking.
