Parking at GF or Polynesian

We are staying at CBR and have a car which we are thinking of using to go to parks instead of waiting for the bus. Is it OK to park at GF or Polynesian for the day and take the monorail from there to get to MK?

It's okay IF you pay for valet parking at one of those resorts.

No, those lots are for people staying at or visiting the resorts only. They have 3 hour parking limits for people not staying at the resorts, and others may be towed. Doesn't happen all the time, but I doubt you want to take the chance it might be you.

If you really want to park at one of the resorts for the day you can pay $15 for valet parking. As a Disney resort guest that doesn't make much sense though, as you can park for free at the TTC instead (aka MK parking lot). That said, I would bus to MK if possible, much easier just riding the bus there and getting dropped off at the gate.

It's a hot topic issue for sure around here. Basically this question comes up a lot and sometimes it's because people want to avoid paying the parking lot fee if they are staying offsite.

Also because parking at resorts is not made for the theme parks and can not accommodate which means that guests at those resorts may have no where to park their car at the resort they are paying to stay at. This gets tempers flaring in the discussions on this topic.

But honestly, in your situation there would be no reason to park at GF or the Poly. Just park for free at the TTC and take the monorail or ferry in from there.

I'd drive to all the parks except the MK, it makes much more sense to take the bus there.

You will have free parking at the parks because you are staying at a Disney resort. You can take the monorail from the MK parking lot to the MK if it is running. You do not have to park at one of the resorts and pay for valet.

I agree about just parking at TTC for free. However, we have paid for valet for the day once or twice before.

I was just there and remember seeing a sign when you pull up to the guard going into the Poly that said parking was for resort guests only and you will have to show your id and proof that you are staying there.
