Parking at downtown Disney

How much is it to park there per hour after the free or validated? And is it 2 free and 2 validated?

Yep, 2 hours free and 2 hours validated.

"Your first 2 hours of parking are free. An additional 2 hours may be validated at AMC Theatres and Downtown Disney District table-service dining restaurants. Beyond that, the cost is $6 for each additional 30-minute increment with a maximum charge of $36."

I always find lots of parking in the last couple aisles behind Rainforest Cafe (next to the monorail). It seems like most people don't consider driving down those 2 aisles. I have parked there for lunch and for dinner and always had plenty of spaces to choose from.

We were re-routed to another lot on a Sunday evening. It was so convoluted that I don't know exactly where we were parked, other than that it was by the PPH.

Bonus was that they didn't make us pay for parking. The walk wasn't bad.
