Parking at Deluxe Resort with Reservation

In the past we have had valet parking take our vehicle to a parking lot during our stay at our Deluxe Hotel without a charge and retrieve it when needed (not often). Has this changed? Are we now going to be charged the $42/night valet parking fee? My husband's disability does not allow him to walk long distances from the parking lot at the Boardwalk. He has a state issued disability tag,

There has been no change to valet parking. Just be sure to have his hang tag (or be using the vehicle with the plates). You should also plan to tip.

Agree. You will still get complimentary valet parking where valet is offered.

Thanks for the answers. I thought the wording of the description of the disability parking on the website had changed and it concerned me. Of course we always plan our tips - when they unload and take our vehicle and anytime we take it or return it for parking. We are so very grateful for the service!

A couple months ago at Disneyland (Grand Californian), I ran into this. In the past, I would valet with handicap placard for the self parking price which was $0 since I am DVC and staying on points. They told me that was no longer the case and I would have to pay for the valet parking. So I ran to grab the car back and said I would self park it across the street. We never take the car back out at Disneyland so I could just leave it in the self park and when we were leaving, I left mom in the wheelchair by the entrance of the hotel and ran and got the car while Bell Services got our bags.
