We usually fly out of BWI, but the flights are cheaper to fly from DCA. We have never flown out of DCA. We won't be spending the night at a hotel the night before so we have no idea where to park. Any help would be greatly appreciated

We use the easy park and fly website and usually get parking for around 6 to 7 dollars a day at one of the Marriott hotels in Crystal City. Just follow the instructions on the site and it works like a charm. You can also just search DCA parking and other sites come up. We never park at the airport anymore. It has gotten way too expensive.

Go to the DCA website and you will see maps for parking. We just used the airport's long term lot last year for a trip to WDW.

A much cheaper alternative is to park at a Metro lot and take the Metro to DCA. You can park at a metro lot for your entire trip and only pay like $5 when you exit the lot. This is what I do every time I fly DCA.

I was looking at this option, but I am having a hard time finding reviews other than the ones on their site. This option is the one I am leaning towards.

It's $14 a day :scared1:

I am leary of this because it's not a secure lot. Although I guess you take your chances any where you go. Which stop do you use? We are coming from the Ocean City area

You are braver than I am. They are not secure lots and according to the Metro web site the only stations are Greenbelt, Huntington, and Franconia Springfield for up to 10 days max. There are between 15 and 17 spaces on a first come first serve basis. The fees vary by station. Greenbelt - $4.50 per day, Huntington and Franconia Springfield - $4.75 per day.

I again say the best way to go is the easy park and fly. We are doing it for the 8th time the end of January and when I get back to my car it will be in a gated parking garage free of snow or ice if there is a storm while we are gone. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport is right outside the front door of the hotel and runs every twenty minutes. There are hotel shuttle stops at the airport. You just have to remember if you are on the north or south loop. Again about every twenty minutes.

Thanks so much for the information! I am assuming it's like any other shuttle that you call the hotel when you get back to baggage claim and ask them to pick you up?

You don't call. The shuttle runs in a continuous loop and arrives at the hotel and the airport about every 20 minutes.

Well that's easy enough! Thanks so much for your help!
