Parking at Check-in

We stayed at PBH this summer and schlepped our own bags. I'm thinking there has to be an easier way. We are checking into HRH early this Wednesday morning and out on Thanksgiving. Can someone tell me the valet parking procedures? Do we give them our bags and keys? When do we tip? Do we take our bags back to bell services before heading off to the park on Thursday? I'm so excited but I want to do things right!

We have never done valet but it seems simple. We always stay at RPR and it should be the same.

Pull up and they will unload your bags to take to the room or to luggage hold if room is not ready. If you want to valet they will take your keys and I believe give them your last name. I would normally tip the valet when getting your car vs giving it to them. As for tip with luggage I would give a little if room is not ready and a little more when brought up later. If room is ready then give all to the one person.

We normally take out own bags except for our longer stays. We never use the valet so we have our luggage unloaded. Then my wife stays with the luggage guy while I self park. Then we go check inand if room is ready they bring luggage right up with you, if most it gets stored in luggage service.

Now when you leave, just pick up the phone and call luggage service. They will come to the. Room and take your bags, count them and give you a ticket. Then go on your way to the parks. When you get back go to luggage service and give ticket to get luggage. They will bring out to car. If valet they will bring car up. If you self parked get car and they will load for you.
