Parking at Buffalo Airport

Hi all,

I am flying out of Buffalo to WDW at the end of this month.

I usually fly out of Toronto, so this will be a new experience for me. Can anyone recommend which parking lot I should use at the Buffalo airport? There seems to be quite a few, and some seem to have better rates if I pre-book. Will those parking lots be a crazy distance away from the airport? Should I just drive there and pick a lot when I see one?

I have found the economy lot to be convenient and easy to get to and from with the shuttle service.

There is usually a coupon that also gets you $5 off the weekly rate at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport web site. http://www.buffaloairport.com/Parking/Coupons.aspx

The last time that we went I dropped off the wife and kids at the terminal and by the time that I got back they had already checked in the luggage and we were headed to the security line.

The only problem that some people complain about is that it is open air lot.

I don't think I would mink the lot being open air at this time of year, but in the Winter....that would be entirely different! LOL

Thanks for the info...I think I will print off that coupon and park there. I wonder how often the shuttle runs from the lot to the Airport. Do you know?

The airport shuttles run steadily 24 hours a day as far as I know and they take you right to your car when you get back. We park in the long term parking lot and walk though (orange area on their map Buffalo airport website) and if you go to google instant street view http://www.instantstreetview.com/ and type in buffalo airport you can see clearly exactly how the parking lot is. We go through the main orange area of long term and keep driving until you go under the road through a tunnel and into another part of the parking lot and so far there has never been hardly any cars there and you can park at the end of the sidewalk that leads you into the terminal- you will be at the level of baggage claim so have to go up a level when you get in there- the sidewalk is mostly covered as it is where hotel shuttles pick people up-is an easy walk right to your car. It really beats taking a shuttle if you don't mind a short walk- and we have done it with little kids.

We parked in the economy lot in May and it was a great experience! As we were pulling into our parking spot a shuttle came right to us and picked us up. It was a very quick ride in the shuttle to the terminal and if we go back to Buffalo I would park here again!

I don't think I have ever waited longer than 5 minutes for a shuttle.

We usually take a 6am flight to Orlando so we usually stay the night at the Sleep Inn beside the buffalo airport. They have a shuttle that will take you to the airport and you can park your car there for 2 weeks. I think the rate is about $140 for the night plus 2 weeks of parking. They also have a nice continental breakfast. Never had a problem worth them.

We have had a shuttle driver guide us to a spot, then wait while we unloaded the van.

They are awesome there --- and they will also bring you right to your car when you return.

We use long term parking A lot.

You will LOVE the Buffalo Airport. So small and easy to navigate! Parking is right infront of the Airport. The Economy lot is too the side of the airport.

My answer is a bit different from the others.

We fly out of Buffalo often and our choice of parking is The Parking Spot. They always have discount coupons (1 week/$49.95) and their service is exceptional!

When you go through the first gate you will be offered a newspaper. Then, when you find a parking spot the shuttle will find you and the driver will get out and load your bags. One time we were there at 4:30am and this still happened!

Not sure of the exact details about returning as Buffalo airport recently changed their procedure, but either a shuttle will be by within minutes or you'll make a quick call from a common phone and then the shuttle will come to the airport. I've never waited more than 3-5 mins and normally they're already there.

The shuttle will drive you to your car and normally the driver will load your luggage right into your vehicle. When you leave you will pay less and, also be offered cold bottles of water for each person in your vehicle.

In my opinion, this company was one of the best upgrades to our Buffalo experience in a long, long time! You can also gather points each time you stay there.

It's my number 1 choice of Buffalo airport parking for sure!
