Parking at BLT

We will be arriving at BLT Wednesday our first visit at home resort taking Magicial Express. My SIL has anxiety about flying and now thinks he may drive, is parking available or do they charge a fee? Any help will be appreciated.

Valet is a charge. Self park is free.

the self parking is very, very close at BLT.

And there is lots of it. We were there for a week at the end of May / beginning of June. The lot was never more than half full.

We always drive, becuase we live in an adjoining state. I find that most of the time I can get around WDW faster than using Disney Transportation.
If you do drive make sure to ask for a property map at the front desk of the resort. It shows back roads and shortcuts to by-pass some of the bus routes.

When you check-in, ask for a parking pass, so your SIL won't have to get one upon arrival (she can just stick it in the car).

Oh, also tell her parking is free for people that fly in, but those that drive have to pay a fee Maybe she will fly, instead.

Just incase the parking spots around Bay Lake Tower are all taken because Contemporary guests also park there, they have another parking lot that faces the Contemporary Magic Kingdom Views. To be more specifc the 1st and 2nd rows there for the cars that were valet parked, however all the other rows are for self parking.
