As a DVC member I know you are allowed 2 parking spots. Does anyone know if they allow one of those to be a pop up camper? At VGC? At WDW DVCs?

At WDW they have parking near Port Orleans for those. You can NOT put people in them unless you set up camp with a site in the camp grounds.

Never heard of a 2 parking spot rule, where did that come from?

When I rented last from David's the agreement said "parking up to 2 vehicles" and when researching DVC and parking at AUL it said the same thing but I just barely closed on my resale contract last week and haven't gotten my packet or log in yet. Nor have I made a stayed as a member yet. So I certainly could be wrong about the rule and maybe it various from resort to resort? I guess I was hoping 2 "vehicles" could mean my car and pop up camper. Especially at WDW since it's a 35 hr drive :scared:.

Some resorts are not configured to allow trailer parking (with tight turns and angled parking where a pull-through would have you going the wrong way)

So while Disney will give you a spot to park a camping trailer in WDW, you may not be allowed to park it at your specific resort.

The Treehouses are limited in parking and as you mention Aulani may be (we've only had 1 car there) but I don't think there's a limitation at any other resorts for vehicles. But parking campers/trailers is limited of course.

The DVC POS basically prohibits any vehicles other than standard motor vehicles (cars, SUVs, etc.), unless there is designated parking spaces for such vehicles. Examples of these designated spaces would seem to be things like motorcycle parking (where offered) and bicycle racks at Hilton Head.

There is no designated camper parking at any of the Disney resorts and as others pointed out, not all resort lots are equipped to handle such vehicles.

Best thing to do is inquire at the front desk each trip to determine the current policy. In the past I've heard of people staying the OKW / SSR area being asked to park them at nearby Port Orleans. If your particular unit is small enough, they may allow it on resort property. If so, I'd personally recommend getting a printed parking pass and taping it in the window of the camper. That way, if resort security or any other management has concerns, they'll know exactly who it belongs to and be able to locate you easily to discuss.

I'm guessing it won't be a big deal for the type of camper you describe. But in these security-conscious times, last thing you need is to deal with a camper that's been towed while on vacation.
