Parking a camper at resorts

We have a reservation at FW in December, but have decided that we'd like to arrive a day earlier than we had originally planned. (We were going to drive most of the way Saturday and stay somewhere overnight and then try to check in as early as possible on Sunday).

Now, my DH is thinking he'd like to go ahead and arrive at WDW on Sat., have a nice dinner, look around at some of the resorts and then get a good night's rest before heading over to the Fort to set up on Sunday (again as early as possible).

Does anyone know if we could park our truck and popup at the value or moderate resorts on site, if we could get a room?

BTW, we have thought of just adding a night at the fort to our ressie. Only problem is we're doing a package (4 nights with dining and 5 day myw tickets) and we don't really want to add the cost of another day of dining. If there's a way to add the day without adding the dining, we're open to suggestions!!:thumbsup2

Yes, you can park at the resorts, we asked Boardwalk Villas once and they told us it is okay. How about making a new one day reservation at FW and then link it to the other ressie so hopefully you won't have to move to a new location the next day?

We parked our RV at SSR for the entire week. We drove it down but didn't have enough room in it for everyone to sleep so we got the 2 bdr villa. We weren't the only one in the parking lot either. The only thing the front desk said was that if it got too crowded in the parking lot then they would ask us to move it to one of the resorts with a larger parking area. That never happened. Have a safe trip!

Thanks so much. That makes me feel a little better... I had thought of making a second reservation and linking it, but because it's a popup, I really, really wouldn't want to have to move it. I wonder what the odds are that we would get to stay where were the first night...

We have a pop-up and we stayed at CBR on our first night when we camped in May, then moved to Fort Wilderness the next morning.
