Okay, so we think we have enough people now to hold a meet. I think it will be smaller than usual, but then again we wouldn't want to miss out on an opportunity to get together with any available pin traders in the area for some fun and trading.

This is going to be a really busy time leading up to the meet since I will be going on the Pin Cruise and that is followed closely by Thanksgiving and the Pin Meet only a few days later. I will provide more details as soon as possible, but first, while I don't usually ask for anyone to bring anything, I would like to ask anyone who is coming to the meet to consider bringing a gift suitable for a child with ages ranging from 6 months to 17 years old. Immediately following the pin meet I will ship all of the gifts to Larry for his Annual Children with Cancer Toy Drive. If you have any questions about this please feel free to e-mail me.

It a tradition, so you can't mess with tradition. It's really out of your hands. You MUST make them. I'm going to make Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Italian Meatballs. I bought two new 2.5 quart crock pots for the occasion.

Have fun you all. After seeing traffic this afternoon headed just from Richmond Northward up I-95, I'm not going to attempt this trip with a toddler! It would normally take me about 2 1/2 hours, but with Thanksgiving holiday traffic I'm sure it would take almost twice as long (especially around DC and Northern VA).

I was really looking forward to seeing everyone again. I'll have to catch the next one.
