Hello all!

I just spent 4 hours on hold, and the CM I talked to wasn't having a great day.
Normally, I'd call back in to get another CM, but I am not waiting another 4 hours.

Situation:
my DD's high school group will be at WDW in mid-march.
One night, they have an special ticket after-hours party at DHS from 10:30-12:45pm. (DHS closes at 9pm that night).
In order to attend the party, all participants MUST ride the trip bus from TTC to DHS.
The travel agent said that post-event there will be NO Disney transportation available for people that aren't riding the trip bus(so Uber/Lyft only or park at DHS prior to park close).

I have a park reservation that day for MK.
My plan was to park at DHS, then take Disney transportation to MK and spend the day at MK.

The CM I talked to said this is not possible, that I will be asked to prove my park reservation and am only allowed to park at the lot for my park reservation.
She suggested I park at MK, then anytime after 2pm I could move my car to DHS parking lot (using my parking ticket from MK) and then make my way back to MK.
When I asked where this policy was listed on the website, she responded with "it's been this way for over a year, you can't park unless you have a valid park reservation for THAT park or it's past 2pm for park hopping".

I see posts like this from last year:
https://www.disboards.com/threads/park-at-dhs-skyliner-or-friendship-boats-to-epcot.3846507/---and think maybe just having a park reservation will get access to park
or this one:

My question for all of you - when you park at a lot, do they scan your park reservation or make you "prove" you're parking for that park?

NOTE: I know this will probably take awhile in the morning, but I'm not overly worried about getting to MK super early.
I'd rather take the extra time in the morning, and be set for the day than have to leave mid-afternoon.
but, it'd be a HUGE mess to try to park at DHS early AM, get turned away, park at MK, then go back to DHS to park and then travel BACK to MK.

No. When park reservations were new, they'd ask us whether we had one, but didn't make us prove it. Then they started asking whether we knew we had to have one. The last few trips, they haven't even asked. And several times when staying offsite we've driven to DHS and parked just to ride the Skyliner, no park reservations at all.

Fantastic!
I was hoping the CM was misinformed, and I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question with your recent experience. THANK YOU!!!

I’m pretty sure some people park at HS and walk to Epcot, so they were allowed to park with their Epcot park reservation.

one thing if I am right if you park at DHS there is no bus to MK until hopping starts. you could walk to one of walkable resorts and get bus there, just not sure you can bus from DHS until later in the day

Thank you! I'm planning to take a lovely stroll to the Boardwalk area and catch an MK bus from one of those resorts. Or perhaps take the skyliner to a resort and catch a bus there. I should have time in the morning, especially since I plan on being at MK until 9pm that day.

Seriously, thank you all so much for your input. Very much appreciated.
