We just returned from a great vacation to Disneyland. We stayed at the Park Vue Inn for 4 nights and were extremely happy with the hotel. We always stay on site when we go to WDW so looked into staying at Paradise Pier but felt the cost ($600) more wasn't worth the extra walking to get into the park. Decided that Park Vue was across the street and was closer. So glad we stayed there. Our room was completely updated, we had 2 queen beds, small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room. The sink is outside of the toilet and bathtub area. There is a coffee/tea maker in the lobby along with cold water 24/7 also at night there is lemonade and fresh baked cookies in the lobby. There is a store in the hotel with just about everything you would need in case you forgot something also snacks, drinks, tshirts and souveniers. Breakfast is included every morning which is a great value they have make your own waffles, 3 kinds of cereal, bread, bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice, scrambled eggs. In addition one day they had bacon and biscuits and gravy, the other days there was sausage and potatoes. The only down side for some would be the fact that it is a 2 story hotel with no elevator. We stayed on the second floor and it was just the 2 of us so the steps didn't bother us. There is also a pool and hot tub. There is a second story deck which you can see the fireworks from. We were lucky as we could also see them from our room.
