Why can't I see it in Disneyland.com's options for a "Good Neighbor"?

Is this a decent hotel? I thought I read that it is okay on these boards recently. :confused3

The rooms were ok... We stayed there last summer (Aug. or Sept., I think). We were in a remolded room I believe. The location is fantastic, and I it was the best bed I've ever slept on!! I do remember that the shower was not great though.

this link takes you directly to their web site and it does show they are a Good Neighbor hotel....

check your dates through their online reservations and see what they offer too!

We got a bunkbed room and I would not recommend getting this type of room. The hotel itself was decent. Housekeeping was good and the room was clean. Our issue with the bunkbed room is that there is no space to walk around, let alone store one's luggage. There was no closet space only a 3foot bar to hang clothes. We saw a 2 queen room and it seemd more spacious than our bunkbed room. Use corporate code "dreams" for an extra $3-10 off a night. It was postcard mailer I receievd from the hotel if you're wondering where the code came from.

I agree with victorsandbellasmom the bunk bed rooms are SMALL.

The carpets were really dirty. We stayed there this past Dec. so not too long ago.The one thing I hated was the fact that there was not a vanity outside the bathroom,so it made for a harder time getting ready. There was also no other mirror in the whole room which if there was one you could skimp by.

We decided to stay next door at the Desert Inn again when we leave tomarrow.Speaking of that, why I'm I on the boards, I should be cleaning.:rotfl:

Yes on their web site they claim to be a good neighbor, but they are not listed on the DL web site as a good neighbor so I called PV directly and asked and they said no they are NOT a good neighbor hotel, so u will not get any of the benefits of the good neighbor hotels I don't know why they advertise this on their web site,:confused3 I was glad I double checked this before I booked my hotel, We decided to stay at the Camelot instead ( they are a good neighbor )

Ok, I'm wondering about this now. Why would it be so important to stay at a good neighbor hotel? A decent hotel suits me fine, but what benefits do you get with a GN?

When you stay at a good neighbor you get a day of early entry to the park. 1 hour before the normal opening.

To get a day of early entry, you need to buy a three day (or longer) hopper pass, or a Southern California City Pass.

Early entry has nothing to do with staying at a good neighbor hotel.:thumbsup2

no it does not really matter, I think with the good neighbor hotels you get to do Mickeys morning madness in toontown and preferred seating at all the DCA shows, pins and lanyards a downtown disney coupon book and a collectible dream coin that is through the DL website I think Costco offers some other stuff with the good neighbor hotels, I just think that if a hotel is advertising on its web site that is a good neighbor hotel well then it really should be one cause it confused me too when i was trying to book their....

This is only true if you book your hotel via the Disneyland web site. If you book with the hotel directly there are no advantages except usually a lower rate. A 'good neighbor' rating just says that Disney gives their nod of approval to the quality of these hotels and that guests of Disneyland can expect an assurance of Disney-quality. It doesn't mean it is as good as the Disney resorts, just that they are a notch above the rest.
