Do you think $176 plus tax is too much for PPI for Sep. 21 - 25 in a 2 queen suite with the kitchenette and sofa in the living room. Also, sofa beds do not bug me and my plan is for me to use the sofa bed so the kids have separate queens in the bedroom and I have the kitchenette after they go to sleep for a drink or snack w/hubby. Is there a way to get that rate down? It is the AAA rate.

Just my opinion but that sounds about right for a kitchenette suite. I have been searching for a place similar and have found a lot higher prices that are a lot further away. I really like PVI when I was there last and would stay there again for sure. Although, I am looking into staying at the Residence Inn Marriott Maingate on Clementine for about the same price with much more room. My plan was to stay in the same suite as yourself but I got a few more suggestions from other Dis'ers and I liked the looks of the RI. Good Luck and have a wonderful trip! :)

The online rate should be better. We just booked the queen/bunk bed for $109 for November and I think the 2 queen with bunk bed was not much more.

Thanks both of you. This is not the two queen with bunks, it is the two room with 2 queens in one and kitchen and sofa in the other. The kitchenette actually doesn't matter to me, just the fridge, microwave, free bfast, free small dinners (I know I probably won't enjoy, but the kids might), if not it is a bonus anyway. Also, the two rooms and the proximity to Disney. I can do a king suite with two rooms, micro, fridge and free made to order bfast at the Embassy which should be much nicer for $125/nt, but would have to take the shuttle. Can't decide what is more important. Also, being that close won't have to take shuttle and the kids will probably like the free dinners. AHHHH!!! What to do??

We have the 3 queen suite booked at PVI this July for $163, the AAA rate. It seems like a reasonable rate to me.

We've done the shuttle thing before...we now ALWAYS stay on Harbor in walking distance. It is so nice not to have to catch a shuttle whenever you want to go back to your room...especially at the end of the day!

I just checked and if you are already booked I would keep it. I cant find a room in the hotel open for those dates. Also we chose PVI because of all of those things too and we are having birthdays that week, they give you birthday cake and bags of goodies. We got lucky and booked the room we want but that does not mean we will get it (according to the reviews) but all of the other freebies make it worth the $10 - 20 dollars you are actually spending on the room after you subtract the amount of stuff you are getting, parking, welcome basket, etc

I am already booked and am sure I am going to keep it, just hate spending that much on a room, but want my kids to have that Disney feeling and be real close. We travel all the time, so this trip isn't really about the hotel as it is about Disney. I'ts probably what I'll do. Thanks for the help:)
