Park Visit 12/21 to 12/24

We are back safe and sound and had a wonderful trip. We stayed at the DL Hotel for 4 nights and it was amazing. The Parks got very crowded on the 23rd and 24th but the first 2 days were great. We did a lot of park hopping when DL got packed and it worked out great. DCA never seemed as crowded as DL. We have teen agers and they seemed to have more fun at DCA than at DL. The new space mountain is very cool.

The best piece of advice I have is to definately use the fastpass system. We were not as finatical about it as some seem to be but we rode every ride we wanted several times and never stood in line longer than 20 minutes.

Well lets see..We loved the new improved Space Mountain at DL. We paid the extra money and got to do the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet on the balcony. We had Disney TGuest Services book it for us. They got our first request. The balcony seats are in order of reservation not check in. Imagine my surprise when they called our family to be seated first..what luck. We enjoyed the Desserts ( Forest cake, cherry cheesecake, pastries, fruit and some cobbler). Drinks were soda coffee or water. The show was wonderful and we got to stay for the fireworks.

The view was a little obscured for some of the fireworks but it was fun. It was sooo cool when they made it snow at the end.

We had nice dinners at Hooks Point and Blue Bayou. BB was very nice and the service was excellent. Hooks Point was not as good and the service was not the best.

The whole family enjoyed lunch at the ESPN Zone. DCA was very cool and our teenagers loved Paradise Pier and the Tower of Terror.

We spent 4 nights at the DL Hotel and 4 days at the park. We hated leaving the hotel but were glad to get away from the Parks.

If you have to go during a busy season I suggest 1. Stay at Disney 2. Hit DL at opening every day and do Adventureland or Tomorrowland first the n go fastpass someting like BTMRR or Space Mountain for later fun.

When the park gets crowded go get 1 last fastpass for your favorite ride and hop over to DCA. Later in the evening hit DL and ride your favorite ride just before going to the Hotel.
