Park Tours

Hello to all.
We are going for our first trip in May and wonder if we should do a tour or some sort. I was thinking maybe this would be good for a 2nd or 3rd trip and we should just spend our first trip discovering what we can in 7 days...any thoughts?

I would just tour the parks the first time, and maybe the 2nd and 3rd times, too. There is so much to enjoy. You might want to actually spend some downtime at your resort.

Tours can enhance the Disney experience, but I would save the money and just enjoy the attractions included with the cost of the ticket.

Just IMHO.

I agree with the above poster. You can see by my signature my family has been several times in a 2 year period. During our 1st trip, we were almost overwhelmed by all of the options we had each day. We were quite busy!!

We didn't even get to see Fantasmic or Illuminations until our 3rd trip...and we go for 7 or 8 days at a time.

We still have never had time to take a tour...maybe next year. It sounds like something really fun.

I've done the KTTK tour and although it was amazing, I certainly wouldn't recommend it to a newbie-it would destroy some of the magic.

I agree with the above listed comments. There is so much to do and so much to see that when your seven days are over your going to look back and say where did your time go!?!?!?! I have been there numberous times and every single time I go back there is something new going on.
I dont know what season your going to be going in but if its peak season, it usually takes some time to see only a "few" things...
Enjoy your first time... take your time and try to take it all it!! ITS A WONDERFUL MAGICAL PLACE...

I agree with all the other replies. We've been on many of the tours and they're all great but the first time you go you should concentrate on seeing as much of the world as you can. There is so much to see and do and so many things you just don't want to miss. Go and enjoy and take the money you would have spent on a tour and have a great dinner at one of their wonderful resturants.
