Park Today

Maybe it is just the stress of preparing everything for the 21st!

Nope, the servers (Restaurant Division) have NOTHING nada zip zilch to do with the theming or putting up decorations or anything. They are just bitter people who have been working there forever (Union's can be bad) who don't care and make good money because the food is expensive and people always want to eat there. I had lunch there about a year ago and it was horrendious service, really really bad.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

I was there for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon too! Hints of Halloween are appearing here and there. Woody's is decorated mostly, there are orange banners hanging from all the storefronts on Main St and from the train station, HMH is decorated on the outside, and the 2 Halloween scenes we saw last year on the tram route are back.

Crowds not bad at all, walked on Pooh, Buzz, Jungle Cruise, Alice and braved the Nemo line at about 3:15. When we got in line, the sign said 60 min, the CM said 50 min, and the signboard had said 45 min. We took our chances, I thought it looked really short, and we were boarding 32 minutes later. Don't believe every sign you read!

We'll be heading back Friday afternoon to check out those Halloween decorations!

Yea, I know I saw alot of guys in suits hurridly rushing around pointing things out around HM. We ended up having a nice couple hours. Got some fried chicken & mash in NOS (we didn't realize they didn't have the spicy corndogs at the cart in Disneyland and were too lazy to walk over to DCA). After that we walked onto Indy (got stuck in the car for about 5 minutes with the car engine reving & shaking right after going under the big ball) & Splash Mountain (even getting our own log) - and getting so soaked that we just decided to go home after. Oh, and I had my first Tigger Tail - I now know what all the fuss is about - YUM!

Thanks for sharing, just the opposite experience we had mid August, but it was a GREAT time.
