Park to Park Transportation

Are there buses traveling from park to park? Let's say I am at Epcot and want to go to MGM, are there buses taking you directly, or do I have to go back to hotel and transfer. If you have to transfer, is there any problem taking the monorail to CR and then catching a bus to MGM rather than going back to the hotel we are staying at POFQ? Thanks

The only 2 parks that I have gone to other parks were MGM, went to Epcot, and from AK to MGM. There are buses that leave these parks to go to other parks. In MGM you can even walk to Epcot or take the Ferry which stops at various resorts and then goes to Epcot. To get to Epcot from MK you take the monorail to the TTC and then get the monorail to Epcot. I am not sure about buses leaving MK or Epcot to other parks though.
I think....but I could be wrong to get to another park from MK you may have to go to the TTC to get a bus from there

Yes, there are busses and/or other transportation from park to park.

For MK, the busses pickup/drop off at the TTC. You also catch the epcot monorail at the TTC.

Between MGM and Epcot, there is a bus from the front entrace of Epcot, and a boat (or walk) at the IG entrance to Epcot

Between MK and Epcot, there is only the monorail.

We are goin in mid-July. We'd like to do a theme park in the morning to early afternoon, then head to either BB or TL about 3 or so, when the crowds "lighten".

Do buses run from the theme parks directly to BB or TL w/o having to go back to the TTC or Resort?

Getting to the water parks mid day, I think I might recommend a taxi; and this from a Disney Transportation fan. In the middle of the day, buses into and out of the water parks seem infrequent. Of course, you can always talk to the nice CMs at the resort entrance or bus stop and ask about buses to the water parks; then they can call up the bus dispatch and let them know that folks are waiting.
