Park to Park tix needed for HE round trip??

I was just wondering if anyone has actually ridden HE round trip without a park to park ticket while one of the parks has been closed. I've seen several rumors/theories that you will or will not need the ticket while the HE is running round trip. Just wondering if anyone knows for sure one way or the other.

I will be at IoA on Wed Oct 15 till 7pm, but US closes at 5 that night for HHN, so I am assuming HE which will be running round trip???? Really can't justify spending $132 to upgrade my tickets just for one ride. I enjoyed the Harry Potter books myself but my daughters are still too young to be huge fans.

Just get the base and upgrade if you decide to at the park.

Will love to know that as well. Will have 3 day one park pr day for 5. The Price difference is huge.

it is simply not something you can count on at this point. .They may very well keep the HE running during HHN and only do roundtrips requiring only a one park ticket, or they may close the HE early. We should know more soon, but even then what happens might not be the norm . I can tell you at this point, it doesn't run during early entry so there is no way to utilize one way trips then. Just wait and see and if you need to upgrade to a hopper, you can do so then.
