Is there any savings in buying the park to park ticket ahead of time as opposed to the base ticket? Is it the same amount if you upgrade after you are already in the park?

It would be the same cost...you would just pay the difference plus you'd have to spend time upgrading. It's better if you just get the park to park to begin with.
