Hi all!!

I'm confused... so used to having APs that I'm not clear on how regular park tix work...

Here's my dilemma...

- FP+ window opens in a few days for Apr trip
- not 100% sure a friend can join
- would like to buy 5-day PH ticket for friend to book FP+ with our whole group

But... If friend CANNOT come, can I instead give that 5-day park ticket to another friend for an August trip??

Any help would be SOOOOO appreciated!! :)

In your MDE account, go to the My Reservations & Tickets pull down. Next to each ticket listed, there's a link that says reassign ticket.

Yes, it is only after a ticket is first used that it is non-transferable. Once the biometric scan is associated with the ticket, only that person can use it from then on.

Thanks guys!! On AP certs assigned to adults other than myself, I don't have that option to reassign the ticket (just says non transferable), so I really didn't know if it would be the same for a regular ticket or not.

So helpful!! :)

If you already have FP+ reservations on your ticket and you reassign it to another person in your MDE profile, will the FP+ stay with that ticket or is there a chance of losing them?

I'm trying to switch tickets between two people because of the character on the card that was issued to them. I know in the end it really doesn't matter, but they would like to have the different character (does that make sense?).

I tried doing it last night, but the original card numbers appear to still be assigned to each of them, so I must have done something wrong. Now I'm worried about trying again because I don't want to mess up our FP+ selections.

Bumping up, in hopes somebody knows if you can reassign a particular plastic card to another member of your family without messing up fp+ selections. I tried it (see above), but don't think it worked. Of course if may not matter if we get our magic bands.

I just wish I hadn't tried to do it without looking into it further. Now when I go to MDE it has an alert that I've successfully linked a ticket for both of these family members. I guess I didn't mess anything up, but I don't think I successfully switched cards either!

Anything that shows on the MagicBands & Cards page can't be reassigned to a different profile.

Unused tickets that appear on the My Reservations & Tickets page can be reassigned to another profile.

If you reassign a ticket, the physical card that it was issued on will remain linked to the individual it was originally assigned to.

Thanks for your reply! Does this mean I didn't hurt anything by trying because it didn't really do anything anyway? :)

Does everyone still have a ticket assigned? If they don't have a ticket, the FP+ will be cancelled. There does seem to be some grace period, but not much, so make sure everyone still has a ticket.

Yes, everyone is showing a ticket associated with them and the fp+ reservations show they are for 4 people (our total number), so I think it's probably OK. Thanks.
