Park Times Late August

Hello,

I am going to Disneyland the last week in August (the 26 - September 1) and I noticed on Disney's site that this week is the only week in August when the parks aren't open till midnight on weekdays and Fantasmic is only playing on weekends.

Since I thought that this week is still considered part of summer, especailly since it is right before a long weekend I thought that the park would be open later than 9:00pm.

I know that Disney's calendars change often so I was wondering in your opinion (or from past experience) if the park will stay open till midnight during this week or if it will go as currently scheduled and close at 9?

The park closing time will really change our daily plans so I would really like to get a feel for what time the park might actually be closing while we are there.

The same thing pretty much happened last year. During the last week of August, the parks closed around 10PM Monday-Thursday instead of midnight during the earlier part of August. They still had Fantasmic and the fireworks show on those nights. I hope that doesn't alter your plans too much.

Do you know why they close earlier that last week? Is it just that the parks aren't as busy?

Part of the reason maybe that many schools are back in session that week and many of the staff are temps going to school. Disney does what Disney does.
