I am going to WDW in March 06 with my husband, DD 7, DS 5 and DD 2. I have not yet bought park tickets because I am unsure of what to get. I was thinking of getting the park hopper with no expiration but then a friend said she thinks my kids are too young to really take advantage of the hopper. Any suggestions?

Your friend might be thinking of the park hopper plus which gets you into the water parks as well. The regular park hopper allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day. It is a great option. Breakfast at mk and dinner at mgm how can you beat it. Get it, you won't regret it.

How many days are you going for? I would only bother with the non-expiring option if you plan to buy a ticket for more days than you'll need (i.e. buy 10 day ticket for a 5 day trip, and save the rest of the days for a future trip)

Even if you buy the number of days that you'll be there, you can add the non-exp option after the fact if you realize that you won't be using all the days. (just be sure to do it before you head home)

I definitely would do the park hopper, and agree with jpolak that maybe your friend was referring to the "plus" (now called "water parks and more" option. My kids are almost exactly your kids ages and the pool/slide at the resort was more than enough to keep them happy without water parks.

Have a blast! Don't forget that you don't need to buy tickets for DD2. :)

Age really isn't a factor with Parh Hoppers. We've never had tickets that didn't have PH privledges... from the time our youngest "mobile" one was five years old (we also had a 9 month old in the stroller). PH'ing allows you to take advantages of schedule differences, personal wants, etc.
