Park Tickets

Hi All
Doing a split stay with 8 day park hopper tickets attached to 2 part of my stay was wondering if there is any way to activate the tickets for the first part of our stay and if so how and where would I do this?

If the tickets are part of a package on the second stay, you can activate them up to three days before that visit begins. Stop by a guest relations booth outside a park or at DTD to do this.

It's now reported that you can activate package tickets up to 10 days prior to your package check-in day. Other DISers have confirmed this.
