I purchased our tickets from our local Disney store and now I am wondering how to be sure they are activated correctly with the correct # of days? I was given a slip of paper with confirmation #'s on it. Do I need to carry this with me to the parks each day? Can the ticket become demagnitized where we wouldn't be able to use them? :confused3 Does Disney have a separate record of my purchase in their computer?

Am I being a worry-wort? ::yes::

I have bought mine in advance before and never had any problems. I do save the proof of purchase with the confirmation number just in case. On our first trip I lost one of our tickets and since we had not used them yet I was able to show the reciet to the CM at guest services and she voided to lost ticket and issued me a new one. If I had not had my numbers, I would not have been able to get a new ticket.

On the actual sale receipt (and maybe the one with the confirmation number... cant remember, havent sold any in a couple of weeks) it should say the number of days and what kind of ticket it was rang in for. If you got the confirmation receipt and a sales receipt, it should have activated right.

It isnt that easy to demagnitize the tickets unless you plan on being around really really strong magnets with your tickets, but if it happens, you can just bring them to any ticket or guest relations/services window and they should be able to help you out....

As for info in the Disney computer system, all it knows is that the ticket was sold on some day from what everplace (if you bought them at TDS), but does not have any info such as who bought them or what the credit card number is that bought them. Thats why its important to have the actavation receipt AND Sales Receipt with you, in a seprate place just in case (maybe in a wallet, or a backpack that you will bring the park without thinking).

I have heard of times when people lost tickets during the middle of their stay and the parks were able to look up the other tickets their party had, and find their ticket (after they anwsered questions about what parks they went to already with the ticket and the like) but that was just one or two cases, and could always change based on the rules in place at that time.... and if i'm not mistaken, the tickets to say they are not responsible if lost or stolen (not positive because I dont have any around me).

I hope I have been helpful :)

Thank you....So, I will plan to carry the receipts with me to the parks. All should be good to go then.
