Park tickets from resort?

From Australia and will be at WDW in January. I'm arriving at 4 pm and won't need the tickets for the first day and I'm hoping to buy tickets for the next 3 days? Is this possible? Can I still purchase park hopper tickets from guest services at WDW resorts? Are these tickets still available for time of stay.

Not sure if arranging advanced purchase of tickets would be better (unsure about using credit card). What are your suggestions?

With the new MYW tickets it sounds as though not all of the options are available for advance purchase at advance purchase prices. That said, you should be able to buy them at your resort when you check in. However, the length of stay passes will cease to exist after Jan 2 and the new MYW tickets are a better value the more days you buy. So if you are not too tired when you arrive and there is a park open late, you may want to buy the 4-day passes and go to a park on your first evening. I don't think there should be a problem using a credit card. That is my plan when we arrive so that I can accumulate points on my Disney Visa for next year's trip. Hopefully after January 2 people who have actually done this will post the ins and outs. Check out mousesavers.com for lots of info on the new ticket options.

I have 1 day left on each of 2 adult park hopper passes and 1 day left on 1 child park hopper. My DS is 13 now and no longer considered a child. He and I will be at WDW for 3 days weekend. Any suggestions on how I should use or redeem these passes? Also, do the old passes have to be exchanged for current ones at guest services or at check-in to be valid or can you just go right to the park turnstyles?

34 hours to go!!!!! :cheer2:

The old adult passes can be used as is. The child's pass will need to be exchanged for an equivalent adult pass. I would use them up. If you opt for a credit on a new full ticket, you will only get a prorated amount based upon your original purchase price. So if prices have gone up since then, then you would lose value relative to current prices.

Are there any savings if I was purchase my tickets now instead of waiting til I arrive in January?
