What is the most cost effective way for CDN travelling to Disney every two years to do park hopper tickets ? Also with Memory Maker . Does not need to be park hopper plus . We are DVC members of thatvmakes a difference for discounts or etc ..
As fellow dvc it depends on what the specials are. We just finished the can special discount. You can cash in Airmiles towards them. Or straight purchase with Undercover Tourist. But when we get discounts like the last promo. If there is no expiry we buy a few as we know we will be back.
If there is no Canadian discount or DVC discount (like the 7 days for the price of 5), your best bet is probably an authorized seller. I have purchased from Park Savers before. The discount is small, but better than nothing.
Last year, Disney had a significant discount for Canadians with non-expiring tickets. They have the same discount right now (sale will be over within the next few days) but the current tickets expire at the end of the year. Given the current exchange, Disney might run the sale again next year. It is obviously attracting Canadian guests, since they decided to run the sale again this year. I bought 3 sets of non expiring tickets last year. Should have bought more.
They won’t loose their money though. At Guest Service when they go to get hard ticket, they will have to pay the difference between Canadian discount and full price ticket
Ahhhhhh you will have to pay a "bridged" price to use those tickets. The price will be the difference between the face value of the CDN tickets you bought, and what today's ticket values are (annnnnnd they just increased yesterday!)
