Do I need to worry about my park tickets going through x-ray and then not working? Better to pack in luggage or carry on?

I wouldn't pack them in checked baggage. #1 what if luggage is lost? #2 I have heard luggage isn't always safe from probing fingers.

They should work the same way any cc or other cards work.

99.999% of the time there is no problem.

The remaining 0.001% of the time Disney will redo the magnetic stripes on the tickets at no charge provided all the letters and the codes on the back (or written down somewhere else / photocopied ) are readable.

To prevent demagnetizing of tickets and credit cards kept together in a wallet, gather them together front to back instead of back to back.
