Park Ticket/Waterpark & More Question

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but here it is: Can we purchase a 6 day ticket with waterpark & more (6 visits) and use it to go to a waterpark on day 7? I thought I had this whole thing figured out, but now I'm getting confused again.

Here's the deal: we are flying in on a Thursday and flying out on the following Wednesday at night. We want to hit the parks on the first 6 days (plus Typhoon Lagoon and DisneyQuest), then go to Blizzard Beach on the day we are leaving (day 7). Does the whole ticket expire after we use our 6 park days or does the entire ticket not expire for 14 days?

Maybe I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be The problem is there are 6 of us going, so I need to save as much $$$ on tickets as I can. Thanks for any and all advice!

If you purchase a 6 day wp&m ticket you will have 6 major theme park days and 6 minor theme park admissions (the distinction between the two is important.)

You can use the tickets however you would like, but they expire 14 days from the first use.

If you're going to be there for 7 days you can absolutely go to the major parks for the first 6 days and then go to a water park on the 7th day.

You could also mix it up. For example:
Day 1: Major park
Day 2: Major park in the morning, Disney Quest in the evening
Day 3: Major park
Day 4: Blizzard Beach in the morning, Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon
Day 5: Water park in the morning, major park in the evening
Day 6: Disney quest in the morning, Major park in the evening.
Day 7: Major park.

This post includes the assumption you have a ten day MYW ticket with both the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More (WPF&M) options.

(Note, if you have a ticket of fewer than ten days, insert the number of days you have any time you see the number "ten" in this post.)

Hopefully this will make it a little clearer. In effect you have two tickets with different privileges on one card. Everything expires 14 days after first use unless you have the no-expire (NE) option. If you have the NE option all the entitlements are good until they are used up. Even if you use up all your major park days, the WPF&M entries
remain valid until used. (Note you do not have to use the days consecutively.)

You have ten days of access to the four major parks (AK, DHS, EC, MK), and may visit more than one major park on a single day without any extra charges. Without the Park Hopper option you can only go to one major park per day.

You have ten entries to the minor parks (BB, DQ, OT, TL, WWS, FG, WSL). These may or may not be used on the same days as you go to the major parks. However, if you went to TL in the morning, Oak Trail* in the afternoon, and Disney Quest in the evening of one day you would have used three of the ten entries. (Note that leaving and returning to the same minor park on the same day does not use an extra entry.)

If you go to minor parks only on one day and do not go to a major park you do not use up one of your major park days.

If you were to go to a Water Park in the morning and then one of the major parks for the remainder of the day you would have used one minor park entry and one day of major park entry.

Note that with the MYW ticket unless you have the hopper option you can only go to one major park per day. Unless you have the WPF&M option you cannot go to a minor park without upgrading or purchasing a separate ticket.

*Oak Trail is a nine-hole "Executive" walking (no carts) golf course. Each person must
have their own set of clubs and they can be rented for $15 per person if they don't bring their own.

Cheshire, this goes for the Military Salute tickets as well, correct? So, we will have 4 major park hopper days and if we add the WP&M we have 4 of those. Essentially turning our 4 day park hopper into an 8 day if we choose to use it that way, correct? I know you must be thoroughly exhausted answering this!

Thank you all for the information! This is exactly what I wanted to know. Using the Undercover Tourist link from Mousesavers, I can save $46 per ticket, times 6 tickets equals $276 savings! With a tight budget, this makes a difference Thanks again!
