Park Ticket Question

DH and I are considering a short trip to WDW for his birthday. We would like to split a day between MGM and AK, then spend a full day at MK and Epcot. If we got a base 4 day pass no hopping it would be less than a 3 day hopper. Could we use the ticket twice in one day, effectively using 2 days? We would then still have 2 days left for the days we don't intend to hop.

Definitely not. You may not "forfeit" another day off of your non-hopping pass to do a park hop with.

You may leave and then return to the same park that day and that will not consume another day off of the pass.

If the two of you are going back anytime in your lives after that for 7* or fewer days, why not buy a 10 day non-expiring pass with hopping ($367.) compared with a three day pass with hopping ($219.) Then for example you do the exact same thing for his next birthday (3 days with hopping) it would have cost you just $148. and there is still more left over on the pass.

*For best results, non-expiration should be planned only when the remains of one or two passes will completely cover some future vacation.

You cannot use 2 days of a non-hopper ticket on the same day to 2 different parks. In other words, without hopping, you can only go to one park per day. The computers at the turnstiles will not let you in to a second park.

You can leave your selected park and go back later to same park. I think there was a thread with this same exact question the other day.....
