Park Ticket Question

If I purchase park tickets and set them up on MDE can the person using the ticket be changed to someone else (before entering the park for the first time)

ie. I a friend coming with me has to back out at the last minute can another friend jump in and take her place once Disney has been informed of the change of person on the reservation. I would be the lead on the hotel room.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm afraid my friend may have to bail at the last minute (family concerns) and I would hate for her to loose the money she put into the ticket.
