Park ticket prices if you switch resorts

We booked our Disney vacation this past weekend. I know Disney often raises prices in February. If at some point we decided to switch resorts, would we have to pay the higher ticket prices for the parks?

Unless you booked with "Free Dining" (that requires buying at least minimum tickets) you can drop your "package tickets" from your reservation and just buy your tickets, stand-alone.
(The resort reservation would then be "room only.")

I strongly recommend that you do so.

You should buy your tickets from a WDW authorized ticket reseller at a discount price.

Those discounted tickets can be much more versatile, flexible (and less expensive) than tickets bought as part of a WDW resort package.

Yes, if you change your reservation after a ticket price increase you will pay the higher ticket price. The only way to avoid this, as Robo pointed out, is to either keep your reservation as is and make no changes after an increase or buy your tickets separately prior to an increase (or while the discounters still have old ticket inventory). Tickets purchased separately from Disney are non-refundable. Other sites have varying refund policies so you would need to make sure you know terms and conditions prior to purchasing.
