It's been a long time since we've had to use strollers in the parks. Do the strollers that you can rent have seat belts? Are they appropriate for a 14 month old (actually, 14 mo old twins)?

Thanks...
Jess

I dont think they have seatbelts. Honestly, for such a young kiddo, I would want something more comfy as well. The strollers are hard plastic. We go to Disney often and I know that when our kids are young like that, they tend to fall asleep wherever, whenever. And I'd just want them to be more comfortable. Plus, I know that my 16 month old would climb out and dart away.

They do have seat belts but IMO they are really not the most comfortable of strollers for babies (and I do consider a 14mos old to still be a baby:)). I would recommend bringing a stroller that reclines and has a nice canopy on it (or you can add something like a RayShade to). Also, the rentals don't have a basket so no where to put your stuff. We just found that any hassle of lugging our own stroller was far outweighed by the positives of having something comfy that ds would sleep in and that had the creature comforts that parents crave like cupholders and a decent storage basket. Jmo though.

Here's a pic of the typical rental stroller, single:

That's what I thought, but I could not remember. Our older 3 kids are 8, 9 and 11. While we have been to WDW many times, we didn't start going until our 3rd child was 2 (and we used our own stroller on that trip). Now we have 13 month old twin girls. I don't mind bringing our own stroller. I was just curious as to which would be roomier and more comfortable. I think we'll stick to our light weight double stroller and just deal with folding it up to get on the buses/trams.

Thanks...
Jess
